SCAM WARNING - Chase breach: If you a receive a notification letter or email about a breach and it asks for account information or Social Security numbers, it is a phishing scam. There is a notification letter going out from Chase about a 3rd party breach but does not ask for your information. Call Chase at your regular customer service number (not the number on the letter) to verify if your notification email or letter is legitimate.

Credit Card Statements will now provide consumers with an illustration of "how long it will take them to pay off their balance," using paying only the minimum amount each month vs paying off the debt in 3 years. The CARD Act will help consumers to assess their debt obligations more easily. Consumers should see changes in their statements in February or March.
